Yes I did use the same inputs for the SBT and SB2 - even the same coax cable; just swapped them in place. All 44.1, 88.2 and 96 kHz material plays beautifully from the SBT, and all 44.1 and 48 kHz material plays beautifully with the SB2. Nothing is working with the optical.
