The audiophile world never ceases to amaze me.

First came the take down of lossless encoding versus full uncompressed
wav files in The Absolute Sound's three part series on Computer Audio.

Next came the destruction of S/PDIF in favor of asynchronous USB due to
jitter.

Then came the dismissal of 24bit/96kHz for the bigger 32bit/192kHz

And now we get the blasting away of PCM by DSD
