I responded to that article beginning with the "Yeah.. Rrrright..." comment suggesting an ABX with upsampled 16/44 --> DSD128 (very easy with Weiss Saracon for example) vs. native DSD128. He didn't seem to want to go there. Oh well... It's also possible that the Mytek just sounds better for DSD input rather than PCM (unlikely).
