One quick note - those buffer under-runs you were experiencing during the playback of the 14bit/88.2kHz song can easily be explained by the following quantum mechanics formula (remember quantum mechanics is the place to go to for all your audiophile problems and puzzles): 17465 And don't forget that due to the Heisenberg's uncertainty principle the variables do not even matter!
