jh901. As you probably know, I actually don't see the value of
"specialty hi-end audio products" for speaker wires, analog
interconnects, digital interconnects. 12AWG zip cord speaker wires,
decently shielded Radio Shack RCA, and decent $20 TosLink/coaxial/USB is
fine with me. Of course if I wanted a bit of "audiophile street cred",
I'm happy to own the Kimber 8TC for speakers (maybe Nordost if I wanted
to splurge), AudioQuest such and such interconnects... Maybe others can
put up some other brands, but I don't know how we can judge "wide
acceptance" or whether that's of concern to most objectivists.

Can't speak much about vibration control devices. Never had a problem
with vibration for my Technics SL-1200M3D turntable on the hardwood
floor even when I'm walking around it; but I have an IKEA Aptitlig
buther block and some sorbothane Isolate It! footers under the turntable
to lift it off the ground these days :-).
