Does anyone have any recommendations on a computer screen that will
still be clearly visible with bright sky behind the observer? LCD?
TFT? CRT? or another TLA?
Can't you just put a 'ledge' over whatever display you like?
I've seen plenty of CRTs at train stations that had a black ledge,
also extending to the sides, that kept the sunlight from getting to the
screen.
I think the trick isn't to find a display that is brighter than ambient
light, but to keep ambient light from getting to the display.
