Indeed, that's a good summary. They have to have a general meeting, where all the members have to agree on the name change and then file everything for the official registration. So this will take some time. I too, don't see many more offers for help coming to us. I would also vote to take the offer from the OOoDeV and move to their server. And btw, I like the name ODFAuthors.
