Well, first of all, I think that Apple's marketing strategies are becoming more and more frivolous, and Digital Restrictions Management (DRM) on a computer is something we just can't ignore... This is a very aggressive posture, and I hope people will realize that.
Anyway, since there is really no substitute for Flash - js is many times slower than flash, and how many years is IE supposed to support the so-called HTML5? I think we have many years ahead. If there were a shift in the market, it might be interesting Away3D were > ported to HaXe, since its already designed to publish to multiple > programming languages. > > I guess I mean that I use Flash today because its the best tool for the > job, and I believe it to be the best tool for the job tomorrow as well. As > for the day after tomorrow? We'll have to see :) About that, there is already a totally functional Away3dLite port to haXe, and I have plans to extend it to support js, cpp and neko as well. So anyway I think that away3d's future is very solid. : ) best, Cauê
