All these discussions around the IPad make me think about those boxes that
children must fill with their ideas of the future. At the time they fill them,
their ideas make totally sens, mostly because they're influenced by present
factors.
Decades later they turn out to be more funny than realistic...

I've seen many projects come and die over the years. Not even talking about
flash 3D.
The reason why I do think Away has at least few bright years ahead is not only
based on the technological aspect of the story but because of the "chemical"
aspect of the project:
Its open source, no big shot wallet can tell us what to do or not. The project
is way beyond the critical mass of users required for an healthy project and
the team composing it
is nothing but hard working creative people really enjoying what they are doing
just for the pleasure of doing it.
This is priceless and quite a good garanty for continuity to me.

With the rize of mobile devices, cs5 coming out soon, android etc.. we will
enlarge our horizon.
And if one day we feel we need some kind of html5 tag thing <Away3d> or some
technology not even there yet. Well, we'll just do that!

Nothing last forever and changes are unevitable. So for my part, I just keep
doing what I'm doing and I'll probably laugh later on when I'll reopen my
"future box " :))
