I understand your search.  My Great Grandparents from Sao Jorges, seem to
have "spontaneously generated" in 1880 onto Commercial Street in Boston with
three children.  No records before that of any of them anywhere-including
the three children that I'm about 99.9999999999999% sure were born in the
US. I joke with my family that we just materialized from the Gods and
Royalty, like my Grandmother always implied. Good Luck.  I work for Temple
University's Library, so I have access to a number of resources.  Let me
know if you need any help-it may be a long shot, but we may have it, or at
least access to it.  Temple's Library is much better than the sports teams
here :-)
