Rosemarie, I will google the Catholic Church in San Luis Obispo and find the number and address. Thanks for the info. I am not sure if they were born in the County or City of San Luis Obispo. I assume all the records would be in one place from that far back. I am still trying to get records from the church for a wedding on one of my relatives and keep getting the run around. It has been since Dec and they keep saying someone else has the records. I called the Diocese in Oakland and they told me the records are at Christ the Light Church in Oakland.
