Hi,

Portuguese and Portuguese Brasilian are "one" language with 2 key
differences separating them. A) ortography and B) phonetics.

Easy comparison would be Brasil is to Portugal as USA is to England.

In 2009 Portugal reached an ortographic agreement with its counterpart
portuguese speaking countries where the written language will change/evolve
to best interact with other PT speaking Countries.

Books are being re-printed, dictionaires re-written etc.

Regards,

Margaret Vicente
