The Homem's in my family changed it to Homen. Many (including females) are
still using the Homen surname. My Homem's came from Santa Luzia, Angra do
Heroismo, Azores, Terceira, Azores...at least as of 1883.

Has any of you heard of the surname "Homem"? I came accross this name in my
research of family in Cedros, Faial and I have never heard that name before.

  Thank you
