I'm sure we can get off in a tangent with all this information out there now but I was very excited that you found Rosalina Silviera in the baptismal records in Piedade. I do know my grandfather was Thomas S. Bettencourt (S for Silveira). I do know that his mother was called Senora Rosalina because he told me. I do know she lived in Piedade all her life in the house that is still there. That I know for sure. I know the date of his birth and death. Where he was born and where he died. from our family records. I would like to know who his mother's parents were and if she lived with them. I would like to know for sure if my grandfather was John Bettencourt of the Nossa Senora da Piedade parish and if there are records on him. I don't know if you can help me Eric with any of this.
