There is a Enos family Tree at Ancestry.com that shows a Rosalina Augusta of
Piedade, Pico. It shows a son as Antonio Silveira Bettencourt b Sep 1870 .
This Antonio also came to California. However when referencing him on a
shiplist, he tells his birthplace is Santo Amaro, Pico. He is not found in
the parish records there.

The big question is, what documents are you basing your search on? Most of
the trees on Ancestry are undocumented junk. They usual hunt similar sound
names on other trees and "borrow" the information for their own. It's as
unrelaible as the majority of the Familysearch trees.

You should carefully list out all the documented data you have ( birth,
marriage, death records Obits , shiplists, etc)

then list any family stories that might relate to the origin
