Good Day Everyone, I am searching my family line: da Silveira / Silveira. When they *immigrated in 1893*, their surname was da Silveira. In America, all records have Silveira. The family immigrated from Faial to New Bedford, MA in 1893. I am trying to find records, from Horta, Faial. Actually any records would be wonderful. *Joao Ignacio da Silveira* (Silveira) and *Rosa Leanora Perry Da Rosa*immigrated with seven children. One child was born in New, Bedford, soon after they *immigrated, in 1893*. They may have had more children, born in Faial, yet I am not sure. *Joao Ignacio da Silveira b. approx. 1854* (I don't have a marriage date) . *Rosa Leanora Perry Da Rosa b. 4/30/1860* in Faial.
