Repost for Syndi Texeira, syndih at gmail.com Hi, I'm new to this group as well as genealogy. I'm trying to research my family that came from the Azores to Hawaii Island. I did find my great great grandparents on the Bell Rock ships manifest. Their names were Manoel Teixeira and Maria Da Estrella. They traveled with three children (Jose would be my great grandfather). I have been looking on the CCA but in my grand uncle's notes, it says they were from Ribeira Grande. I'm not sure if that's correct since I don't have any proof. My grand uncle started this endeavor and I hope I can finish what he started. Any help would be appreciated.
