Hi Richard, The only information I have is what my grand uncle had found on his own and the other information I located from my great grandfather: his name was Jose but then it changed to Joseph Texeira. His birth date was September 23, 1877 or at least that's what is own his grave. The only other information about Maria da Estrella is that she died in April 1927 and was buried at the Kurtistown Catholic Cemetery but there are no markers. The cemetery has fallen apart.
