The amount of noise we make down there on the International Floor when
researching - I guess they are used to large groups (we sit away from the
Information Desk so we don't drive them crazy). One evening, Nancy Jean
commandeered the TV in the hotel lobby away from the guy watching the ball
game - just so a bunch of us could watch Who Do You Think You Are. Another
time, Celeste (and probably me) rearranged the furniture in the hotel lobby
just so we could all hang out together afterwards (we put it back).
Sometimes, a few us hang out in the hotel library/TV room until midnight,
still doing our thing. The guy in the gift shop is pretty accommodating
too. They have a bit of coffee, snacks, and bananas, as well as the usual
trinkets. We've gone over to JB's (the coffee shop attached to the hotel)
with a large group too. All this on top of the classes and research
assistance that you receive. We just like to have fun and try our hardest
to make people successful.
