I am not sure if anyone has tried using backuppc on a file system like this.
I have 200GB of data roughly 10,000,000 files.  Backup has no problem but it's taking too long.
It takes about 20 mins to just receive the file list, after that the HD goes crazy for about 90 mins
regardless how many files are changed.

I've tried reiserfs and now just switched to xfs.  Dont think there is a hugh improvement.
Is there anything that I can do to have this done better/faster?

(tried rdiff-backup, which doesn't use a lot of HD I/O but it takes almost 4 hrs to do a incr :( )

THanks
