Ok, let's start again from the beginning:

# cat /etc/debian_version
8.2

# grep MemTotal /proc/meminfo
MemTotal:        8190512 kB

# grep 'model name' /proc/cpuinfo  | head -n1
model name : Intel(R) Xeon(R) CPU           E5410  @ 2.33GHz

# mount | grep backups
/dev/mapper/vg0-lv_backups on /var/backups type ext3
(rw,nosuid,nodev,noexec,noatime,nodiratime,nobarrier)

Click on "start full backup" in admin page

# cat /var/log/BackupPC/LOG
2016-01-13 20:21:26 Running BackupPC_Admin_SCGI (pid=29415)
2016-01-13 20:22:11 Reading hosts file
2016-01-13 20:22:11 BackupPC started, pid 29463
