Jan this is the wrong way of thingking. Don't think small! Think big as you can reach it if you market Thai Qualities in Software Development to the world outside of Thailand.
Not the Thai market needs to get explored it is the international market where Thai developers need to place their skill-sets. This is at the moment the main problem of investments in Thailand. People don't know what Thai Developers can do and therefore don't invest here - especially not since those colorous T-shirt demos. i.e. The people from BOI told us that the investment and founding in BOI companies drop 75%!!! in comparisson to last year. The market is not Thailand! - OK there is also a market - but the big and really valuable market you can monetize lies outside of Thailand. i.e. a Thai TYPO3 developer who starts developing TYPO3 websites might earn about 20000 - 40000 Baht/month if he is qualified in TYPO3 he will get lots of Jobs outside of Thailand earning about 150000 Baht / month We need qualified people with very good English skills who are willing and capable to deliver products ontime - no matter what CMS or Shop System they are working with. This is the main problem why People simply go to Vietnam or Cambodia or China instead in giving their CMS Projects to Thailand. They can not communicate with the people and they have problems in getting their Project finished on time right now - we need to change this!
