Your referring to smtp relay, and not open relay. An open relay means machines 
can send through you without some layer of authentication; either IP/user/pass.

Baruwa is a gateway. (in most cases) It picks mail up, scans and re-delivers. 
(for the most part)

Personally, if your running 10 servers each with 300 domains, your going to 
need to learn psql commands. Also, the community edition does not allow 
clustering so you will have a single point of failure for each server.
I would recommend you stepping it up to the Enterprise edition so you get 
better support, as well as the options to cluster the servers together.
