Just to poke my oar in here; There should, in CVS, be a big chunk of
code for merging/syncing any old bbdb into your regular bbdb. There
should also be a large part of the code necessary to get the pilot
database into the bbdb, although it relies on a modified version of
pilot-addresses from the pilot-xfer distribution. I do honestly intend
finishing this, and probably with something better than
pilot-addresses as a means of chatting to the pilot, but I'm currently
doing a rather bizarre commute which means I'm not getting a lot of
hack-time in. The solution I was working towards was that Dinesh's
code or my code or any other code (e.g. LDAP merge, WINCE merge, etc.)
could feed into the generic merge code and allow people to build
conduits for whatever they like, safe in the knowledge that there's a
generic backend to do the merge/sync operation.
Cheers,
Waider.
