BBDB in its own frame

I have been using Martin Schwenke's stuff to put BBDB in its own frame
and I love it --- it really cuts down on the unpredictable
reformatting of my INBOX frame when I send mail back and forth.

Unfortunately, what one can't do is use the m command to send mail to
the person currently displayed, because that calls change buffer,
which can't be done in that frame.

Has anyone worked around this?  If not I'll have a shot at it
myself...
