I didnt find anything either. I think the problem is restricted to the
Debian package which somehow changes the Gnu Emacs bbdb but not do the
same on Xemacs.
Anyway as I made only few changes in the last month, date of the damned
upgrade, I will manage to insert them by hand and wait until the Debian
group finally solve the bbdb.deb problem.
For the moment I am back to Pine. If at least VM could be run on Gnu Emacs
:(
