You are right in a sense, since now it has more fallbacks,
i.e. not just the From and To header.

Of what use would it be to hook functions, BTW what hook
functions, those calls in bbdb-annotate-message-sender?
Probably there should have been a distinction between three
classes 'author, 'recipient and 'unknown. And probably new
variable bbdb-get-addresses-headers with '((author . "From"
...) (recipient . "To" ..') ...) and a function
bbdb-annotate-person (CLASS ADDRESS ...).
Opened for discussion: Is there anyone having a need for that?
