Hmm... Making changes to ip3k firmware all of a sudden. What's up?

How are the little background effects handled - things like spectrum
analyzers, progress bar, time remaining, etc.? And Transporter's
second screen, which normally displays VU meters?

Does this have any affect on server-side settings of scroll rate,
number of pixels and pause, or do they all still behave the same?

This is both a server and player-side change. So does the server now
send the bitmap only when the TITLEFORMATted bitmap changes, once per
track change?

Will 7.6 firmware running against a pre-7.6 server break the NP
displays on ip3k players?

There must be a limit to the width of the bitmap that the players can
handle, given their memory limitations. Will users see truncated
displays with long TITLEFORMATted strings?

With Transporter occasionally struggling to play hi-rez material, won't
this increase CPU load and the likelihood of playback problems?
