Sure. Simplistically, could just sort regular albums to the top (artist and album artist roles merged as one "group"), with other contributions (compilations via track artist role, and band, composer and conductors) appearing at the bottom. This could be built into the "Sort by..." option - provide a "Contribution, Album" choice? I think that would do it.
