Yes, but I don't know if I want to go through all that trouble just to get to the bottom of this relatively minor issue, and I'm pretty skeptical that it would make a difference. The NUC I'm using is probably just as powerful, processor/RAM/SSD-wise, as most mid-tier laptops.
