I had quite the weekend of gaming. My brother (DancerinDC on BGG)
came into town on Thursday night, and we spent the better part of
Friday and Saturday gaming like mad. Jason helped me get several new
games from my collection played, which was really nice. He even
created a geeklist about the games we played that you can check out
when BGG is back up and running.

As for the best game, well it would probably have to be Pandemic.
Jason had just received a copy of the game as a birthday gift and I
decided to play his first couple games with him. We played with 4
epidemics the first time and won somewhat easily. Then we played with
5 epidemics and it was a real struggle to keep things under control.
I was amazed at how close we came to defeat, but we managed to pull
out a victory just in the nick of time.

Out of the new to me games that Jason played with me, I really enjoyed
Dominion. It was simple in concept and we were both rolling through
our turns quickly once we learned what the different cards did. It
had a very unique feel and I could definitely see how it might lead to
a form of addiction for some people. I won by a lot but only because
I figured out, slightly earlier than Jason, how valuable the Gardens
could be.

So what was the best game(s) you played?
