Gosh, thank you so much, every single one of you for your support. It's so helpful to hear from others who have gone through the same thing.
I realize that a lot of what I'm feeling is grief and not guilt. I know she's in the right place and we made a good decision, but, gosh it's so sad that we had to make it. I do have so much to be thankful for, she had insurance, so we don't have the financial concerns (yet), she is not paranoid or angry, that would be so hard to cope with. I think that one hard part for me is that she can't understand why she's there. It's just human nature, I suppose, that I want her to understand why.
