Jung-Tsung, I too am currently writing an article with revtex4 and I noticed the same thing. Unfortunately this is a shortcoming of the bibtex style file that ships with revtex4. The two solutions Adam listed are both good options. Unfortunately I don't think that modifying the bibtex style file will keep your journal article as a valid compuscript for submission to a Phys. Rev. journal.
If this is for personal use or another publication this may not be a concern but before you tinker with the bibtex style file it is something to consider. My solution so far has been to create a second .bib file by dragging the papers I cite from my master bibtex file into the paper-specific file (call it paper.bib or something). In paper.bib I then remove all the URL fields. I did it with a python script but applescript would do as well. The advantage here is that you don't lose the URL information _or_ functionality in BibDesk because you've only removed information from the paper.bib and not your master database file. I hope revtex4 gets corrected, because that really is "the right thing" to do... it shouldn't put URL's in article citations, it should only include them for citations of online sources. -Andrew On Jul 24, 2007, at 9:35 PM, Adam R.
