Adding some fuel to the fire... Several times a week a group of go-fast cyclists leave an LBS a few blocks away from us and ride through the subdivision, their "pack" blowing through a 4-way stop nearby. I am fascinated every time I watch it. Last week my wife was over on a very busy four lane road that they have to take to return back the LBS after their work out. She was shocked as she watched the pack take up the entire right-hand lane; not an illegal maneuver, but backing up an slowing late rush hour traffic, when a mini-van apparently followed a little too close. The rear most biker slammed on his brakes, turned and screamed at the van driver at the top of his lungs. I'm overwhelmed by the irony....
