So following the logic  "many motorists who were interviewed say that  
cyclists
have it coming because they don't always follow the rules."

So then It would be alright for me in a big truck to run over a car  
driver who does not follow the rules. People in glass houses should  
not throw stones.

Enough of  the rant now back to fun in traffic.
