Stopped at a number of LBSs today... and about to hit REI to try the Stratos.
Tried the Showers Pass, and didn't like the cut, not well designed, at least not for my anatomy. Then tried a pair by Endura, and these were cut nice, but without mesh lining the felt like the interior urethane would stick to the knees. I looked at a pair of pants by Gore, but walked away after seeing the price tag. I realize that what has made my Columbia rain pants so bombproof in the rain is the mesh lining, so whether I buy cycling specific rain pants or not, I going to make certain it has the mesh lining. Curious to hear more recommendations on rain pants, cycling specific pants or otherwise.
