I had a pair of the waxed cotton rain pants, Duxback, and they leaked. I now use a pair of Columbia Lost Lake pants I bought 8 years ago. Despite not be cycling specific, the pants have held up longer and keep me drier than the last two pairs of cycling rain pants I've owned (Burley, Carradice Duxback).
