HI Tony The 305 will not work as navigation devices except for the cookie crumb return from whence I came. The 605 and 705 will work as a navigation device giving turn by turn directions.
Both will track your route and you would be able to download to Motion Base. They will track speed, distance, elevation, even the weather as well as Heart rate and Cadence if the optional parts are there.
