I wrote with a question or two to the list about the Garmin Edges back in
September. It now appears that Santa might deliver me one on the morning of
the 25th. I don't know which model.
So another question: Anyone ever used the 305 or the 605 (I know there's a
huge difference in mapping between these two mid-range units) for
non-bicycling applications? As in a car on major highways or on a hike in
the back country?

Just curious about flexibility,
