I wrote with a question or two to the list about the Garmin Edges back in September. It now appears that Santa might deliver me one on the morning of the 25th. I don't know which model. So another question: Anyone ever used the 305 or the 605 (I know there's a huge difference in mapping between these two mid-range units) for non-bicycling applications? As in a car on major highways or on a hike in the back country?
