You know, I often don't even look at these and almost never respond, but Jeff Schmitt's comment, "Full-time motorists are nothing but a pack of cowards, anyway" is more than a little obnoxious. There are cowards everywhere, including within (I'll try to type it without barfing) "the bicycling community." People who drive cars don't deserve to be painted with the same broad brush. My mom drives a car. She's 84. You don't want her on a bike, believe me. It's okay for bicyclists to go around thinking they're superior -- I do, when I'm on my bike. But to assert it as a fact just makes you look like a fool.
