i think he addressed that comment on his blog by noting that it was tongue
in cheek or whatever in parentheses, as if it wasn't apparent that he didn't
intend to be taken literally; seems like you might be beating a dead horse,
although i do not believe that you are actually beating a dead horse;
sometimes we use colorful language, and it's ok, although of course language
does not really have color
