Is it maybe time to recognize that right on red after stop is a failed experiment?
1. Right on red in the absence of vehicular traffic from the left really means right on red after slowing and glancing to the left. 2. Right on red is a license to fully block the crosswalk, while staring intently to the left. Quebec doesn't have it, and drivers have survived to drive another day. Why do we need it? -- Scott M.
