A typical 1U server consumes ~800 watts (this obviously varies a lot depending on number of disks, CPU etc.) A 30amp 110 circuit provides about 3000 watts; so conservatively that is enough for about 3-4 servers. And if you loaded up a 42U rack with 1U servers, cooling would be off-the charts.
