Considering all the talk about BB crosses with Dorpers, Katahdin, St. Croix, etc; I wonder if anyone can tell me about the taste of those lambs? I raise BBs because of their GOOD TASTE and would love to have "bigger" hind quarters if the taste is the same. Anyone know?

In response to Terry's question on the Katahdin, from what I've seen, the BB
crossed with kat. produced larger and faster growing lamb.
I've purchased 4 crossbred bb with kat. and they have larger hind quarters
than the BB. I have ewes- cross kat/bb, bbwest affrican and will be getting
pure bb all to cross with the pure bred katahdin. Comparisons among the
lambs will made and results will be shared...
