Hello Larry, I was not aware of this information. You have really educated me. I have only raised Barbados Blackbelly and have not had the time to read up or experience this area of topic.
My question off this topic is if you have any lamb recipes, would you be willing to share them with Mary Swindell who is compiling recipes for the Blackbelly Barbados Sheep Association International Cookbook. This will be our main fund raiser and I am hoping that you and others would help. You do not have to be a member to submit a recipe anyone can submit recipes and if you like she will put your name or love one, etc. with your recipe.
