My understanding from the BBSAI website is that the registered sheep aren't
called Barbado vs Barbados Blackbelly, but all are named Blackbelly Barbados
and include polled or horned animals.

The pedigree asks whether the animal being registered is polled or horned,
not whether the animal is descendant from polled only stock and all offspring
remain polled. I think that may be part of the confusion.

The decision tree leaves the impression that offspring can be re-classified
from Barbado to BBS. As long as the offspring are polled and they meet the
other standards. The registry, however, makes no distinction in breed because
all are called Blackbelly Barbados.

Anyway, that's my understanding.
