We have some more lambs. There was two born Feb. 20 (my b-day). They are unusually colored because the ewes are blackbelly mixes. They are pretty though and surviving. Also on the 20th I purchased 2 new ewes locally. They are both 1-year-olds and came pregnant. This morning when my husband went out to feed everyone one of them had just given birth. She had one little girl. We now have 3 blackbelly ewes, one ram and one wether. My sister-in-law has 4 ewes that are crosses. The ram that i had mentioned at an earlier date that we tried banding twice and he still had a testicle up inside is gone. Someone stopped by and asked if we had any sheep for sale. He was the only one that was a possibility. He bought th eram to butcher. He was a good size ram for 7 months old. My sister-in-law sold him for $50. She was happy with
the price but wasn't happy what was going to happen to him. I basically told her to get over it. This is why we started doing this. If the lamb we had from last year wasn't so small we would be butchering.
Is there any place free online where I can go and post pictures to share with friends so that I don't have to attach to emails? Thank you.
