Had another set of twins at 4 a.m. My dog needed out so I went to go check on the one ewe. She was so huge she could hardly walk. She had twin girls. This is my sister-in-law's cross breed. One of the lambs is black with two white socks on the back legs and half her tail is white.
She has short ears like the mom. The other girl is black except for about 1/3 of the tail being white. She has normail ears. They were just born when I found them, just up walking. This makes 3 sets of twins and 1 single birth(from a first time mom). My other first time mom is due any day. My first ewe won't be due for a little while. She was the first to give birth last year, going to be the last one this year. Everyone so far is doing great. The lambs out of the cross breed ewes are big. My first time mom's lamb is so tiny compared to them. They are all doing great though.
