Sorry, but this comparison is not correct! What you want is to put a
button on the button! The titlebar is the only button or "handle"
you really need to use a menu. That's minimalism *and* good design!!

The parent menu could remind you that it's torn off, so you can reuse
the menu again - if you find it :-) 

This avoids you from producing dozen copies of menus. If you fear to
lose the menus just do not tore them off. 

It makes no sense if you forget the menu position and nothings reminds
you that the menu is hanging around somewhere.

So take care of your menus ;-)
