Hello all, this is my first message on these boards - great to see
there's still a strong QS community.

I use Multiclutch on my early 2008 MB Pro and in theory a three finger
swipe downwards should invoke QS.  This was patchy in Leopard and even
more so in Snow Leopard.  My keyboard activation is ⌘-space,
ruthlessly stolen from its former life as Spotlight shortcut.
